May 2011 - Ok you're back from Vegas! Forget about all the money you lost, cherish all the adventures you had, get all your notes together, finalize all the engineering and business details, get you quotes and lets get to work!! Summer is almost here. It's time for projects. Call us, we can help.

Jan. 2011 - We really like the DIN 1.0/2.3 type video connectors; Rugged and intuitive in design. They lock into position and require a special tool for removed. Great for installs where vibrations may jar traditional BNC or F type connectors loose. The compact design also allows for dense connector packing. Take a look in our 'projects' section for more on the topic.

Dec. 2010 - The end of the year is when all loose ends are tied up. It feels good to wrap-up an audit of a million dollar data network. Dealing with over 100 ACAD drawings, thousands of cables, lists of unaccounted-for equipment. Its a dirty job but someone's got to do it. Now for removal of hundreds of abandoned cables. Happy New Year!!

Feb. 2010 - Look closely and you'll notice that the Brits are behind many of the big engineering advancements that have shaped the modern world. Ad one more to the list: Pro-Bel routers. This uniquely British piece of hardware reminds me of the '66 MG MGB Roadster a friend of mine in high school was lucky to inherit; a sleek and compact workhorse, with a tad bit of British quirkiness. The challenge was connecting hundreds of audio cables to two-channel terminal blocks, positioned in interesting patterns on the routers several back plates. All in all, a true work of art. Now its up to the operators to get the most out of it. I always did love that car.

Jan. 2010 - Got called to rescue a cat from a tree today. Actually it was a call to help regain control of a VTR gone wild. Turns out the control cable had "gone bad". We rushed in and ran a single cable 200ft, through walls, under floors and long lengths of conduit, around working editors, graphic designers, producers and machine room operators. Whether you need one or thousands of cable run, don't hesitate to give us a call. "Whenever there's trouble, we're there on the double"

Dec. 2009 - Work begins on Phase I of a new million-dollar network for one of our corporate clients. Cisco provides state-of-the-art routers and switches. We provide the 32,000 feet of cable and know how to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Spreading over the nearly 1 acre-sized facility, we fabricated and ran hundreds of cables, racked several switches and routers and dressed about 70 racks. Quoting a great leader in TV history, "I love it when a plan comes together!"

Aug. 2009 - While the U.S. economy continues to stall or, as many suggest, to fall into further recession, cable companies and home entertainment providers remain profitable. A web search can yield several articles on the topic, but the important point in regards to system integration is that these companies are taking advantage of the recent dip in copper prices to expand and upgrade facilities and capabilities. On top of the list of winners is one of our clients: DIRECTV Latin America.
